But a temporary downturn (weeks, months) is almost guaranteed IMHO without some marketing avenue that accompanies it. Last but not least, Natasha’s overall demeanour and personality is pleasant and it has been a pleasure working with her. Natasha is also very prompt to follow up and share feedback. I have little doubt there would be a downturn of some amount of time while buyers figure out this is the place to be (though coupling with a heckuva marketing strategy could mitigate that risk in part, which is where would need to come into the conversation). Natasha would set up calls before every interview stage to make sure you are ready and to provide any tips observed from previous experience with other candidates. We do our store for our fun money (translation: so I can buy LEGOs for me, they've gotten too expensive!) and for charity. You can add items with price information, part number, quantity, category and remarks, generate a report with all time sales or the last 6 months sales, and easily update your database. I don't so it's easy for me to have cut off and come over here - I have a F/T job (as does my husband). BrickStock is a program that enables you to organize and track your inventory data. The challenge of course is for anyone who actually LIVES off their store. BrickStock will allow you to set a list of parts to what it believes to be Bricklinks 6 months sales average, but it is often inaccurate. If more sellers bit the bullet and came over here, closing their BL store (which I did 1.5 years ago after the Brickarms debacle) - especially the BIG guys - the buyers would follow IMHO. BrickStore is a BrickLink offline management tool. But objectively, I believe that buyers go where their widest range of options is and the most competition! :-) there is just no comparison in the buying experience between here and BL (and I used to buy a LOT over there before I moved 100% here) - BO's intuitive design blows theirs out of the water.
